Caroline County, Virginia shares their experience with First Arriving Dashboards
“This system really provided us an opportunity to share information across every station,” Fire & EMS Chief Jason Loftus said.
At the individual stations, members can make the content on their dashboards unique to the station to keep everyone up to date.
General information, such as truck repairs, work shifts and truck staffing, is displayed on the dashboards and allows key data to be communicate throughout all the stations.
An important feature is that all the stations can watch when one station is responding to a call on the dashboards. This provides an opportunity for everyone to learn possible ways of handling situations, in real time, without having to be there.
“The information we want people to read will be up there for a long time,” Loftus said
