Auburn VFC’s Site Launches Website to Assist Volunteer Recruitment Efforts

"I’m very protective over the community. I want to do the best that I can for the community." It has been hard to recruit but Reese put her trust in First Arriving to help her reach her goals.

Auburn Volunteer Fire Company now has about 20 active volunteers, but the goal with their new website is to raise that number.

Melody Reese, Auburn’s fire chief, cares a lot about her small community and wanted a new website that would help grow their number of 20 volunteers in their small town.

“I’m very protective over the community. I want to do the best that I can for the community.” It has been hard to recruit but Reese put her trust in First Arriving to help her reach her goals.

Although Auburn is a small station, Reese said that First Arriving did its best to work all of the company’s needs. “First Arriving has been giving a lot of suggestion in [helping us] be better and reach out,” Reese said.

Auburn’s new site is now live and Reese said she has been receiving good feedback from her community. All of the ideas that First Arriving came up with helped to steer Reese in the right direction for her website.

“You guys [First Arriving] have been a blessing,” Reese said.
