Rescue Hose Company No. 1, serving Walden Fire District No. 2, has one station house, six apparatus, and 29 active firefighters. The company responds to 500 calls annually. First Arriving created a customized website for their department to recruit new members looking to give back to their community, as well as allow citizens and current members to stay up to date through their news feed. Visitors of their site can browse photos, view their Facebook page, and learn more about Rescue Hose Company No. 1.
