Sales Development Representative

We are looking for an SDR who will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads for our innovative dashboard technology.

This role plays a vital part in helping drive growth at First Arriving. First Arriving is a fast-growing technology and marketing company serving the public safety and local government market based in Richmond, Virginia, with clients across North America.

Sales Knowledge

• Find areas of need for the customer through research.
• Ability to ask questions relevant to identifying a company’s business goals.
• Clearly communicate product knowledge in order to solve a need.

Interpersonal

• Resourcefulness – Adapts easily to change, understanding the customer’s view.
• First Impression – encounter with a peer, customer, or partner is uniformly positive and strong.
• Evolutionary Pace – Pace at which the SDR acquires new skills and capabilities that can be driven into the LDR process; proactively seeking out the best methods from outside the industry to push organizational progress.

Responsibilities

• Generate new revenue opportunities through prospecting
• Support execution of internal sales campaigns to drive campaign goals
• Achieve or exceed MQO and SQO and targets
• Handle and assist in executing lead generation campaigns

Requirements

• Proven experience or knowledge
• Ability to work in a collaborative in-office and virtual team environment
• High-level of comfort with cold calling and speaking 1:1 with a range of personas from C-Level executives to managers.
• Ability to simplify sophisticated ideas, business processes, and product offerings to customers’ understanding
• Exceptional writing, editing, and formatting skills
• Phenomenal organizational skills & phone presence
• High-level of energy and passion
• Eagerness to establish yourself as a subject matter authority

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year plus commission
