Accessibility Statement

This statement covers firstarriving.com, our public marketing website.

We design and develop toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely adopted standard for web accessibility, and the standard referenced by Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and by ADA Title II regulations for state and local government websites. This statement reflects an ongoing effort, not a claim of full or certified conformance: accessibility is a continuous process as we add and update content and features.

Concrete practices already built into this site and kept under active review:

• A visible "skip to content" link for keyboard users, and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology rather than announced as noise.
• Support for the "reduce motion" preference set in your browser or operating system.
• Minimum 44px touch targets on touchscreen devices.
• Accessible form labeling, autocomplete attributes, and error messaging.
• Color-contrast and semantic-markup checks as a standard part of our development process, not a one-time audit.

Some third-party embedded content (for example, video players from external providers) is controlled by those providers and may not fully meet the same standard. We prioritize and address issues as we become aware of them.

This site relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript, and is built to work with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies. It may not function as intended with unsupported or outdated browser versions.
