WFCA IGNITE Symposium 2027

We're heading to Las Vegas for the Western Fire Chiefs Association's third annual IGNITE Symposium, a leadership-focused fire conference built for current and future fire service leaders across the West. Over three days, chiefs and officers come together for keynotes, hands-on workshops, and conversations on the issues shaping the future of the fire service.
This year's program runs three tracks: Wildfire, Technology, and Wellness & Development. Sessions cover topics like public safety data exchange, emerging EMS technology, preparing for the future of fire service technology, succession planning, and leadership on the fireline. Keynote speakers include decorated Army Ranger Keni Thomas, Laramie County Fire Authority Chief Jason Caughey, and Joe Roberts, with a Wildfire Update featuring leaders from the U.S. Wildland Fire Service, USFS, and USDA.
Technology is a big part of the conversation at IGNITE, and it's where we spend every day.
